Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me.
I think it is important to get to know your realtor on a personal level before letting them help you dive into one of the largest decisions of your life. Below is my story, I am looking forward to hearing yours….
I was born and raised in Boiestown, New Brunswick. A very small rural community in the geographic center of the province. I am the youngest child of 4, the baby, and a proud mama’s boy. If you know my mother, you understand why. My childhood was filled with many positive experiences that keep me grounded and act as the foundation to the person I am today. I was privileged enough to be surrounded by aunts, uncles, and cousins growing up and consider my extended family my closest friends.
Throughout my school days I was active in sports, army cadets, and exploring the world around me. Of course, growing up in rural NB that world was nature. Having this passion for the outdoors led me to attend the Maritime College of Forest Technology where I graduated in 2005 and immediately moved to Virginia, USA for a career opportunity. Working in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia was a huge growing experience. After spending some time in the US it was time to go back home.
Returning to New Brunswick, I settled in Fredericton and continued to work in the forestry sector then transitioned to construction. Knowing I wanted to return to school I applied to the Faculty of Kinesiology and in 2011 I graduated with a degree in Sport & Recreation Studies. Upon graduating I was honoured to be hired as the Executive Director of Special Olympics New Brunswick, a position that would teach me more about how to live than to work. Over the next decade, I worked alongside an amazing group of volunteers, staff and athletes. I witnessed the transformative powers of inclusion, friendship and compassion first-hand and got to experience people reach heights that at one time were unimaginable. Special Olympics forever will hold a large part of my heart. In 2020, I decided it was time to leave Special Olympics for a new opportunity.
If you already know me, you know I am a very proud family man. My wife and 3 children are my motivation, my support network, and my best friends. My wife, my rock, is a genuine saint. She is a social worker by training and provides counselling services to adults and youth. Our children, Adah, Reid and William are our treasures. Adah is a caring, athletic, and smart young lady. Reid is our nerd, all things space, math and science is his jam. William is our tank, works on his own schedule, constantly tests his abilities and ours, but is the most loving child you may ever meet.
This is just a bit about me, if you choose me as a realtor you choose my values of trust, responsibility and transparency. I am confident that together, we can make your dreams come true.
